Destituzioni della filosofia

Saggio sulla deposizione accademica

L’ultimo libro, Destituzioni della filosofia, pubblicato a firma di Guido Zingari, è un e-book. Questo è già un paradosso considerando la scarsa simpatia che Zingari provava per i computer e per tutto ciò che avesse uno schermo come elemento d’interazione. Tuttavia, questo testo nasce come dispensa didattica per il corso di Istituzioni di Filosofia, quindi inizialmente pensato per essere distribuito in fotocopia agli studenti. Un dono di Zingari ai propri studenti per approfondire e per gettare qualche luce su alcuni concetti portanti del suo approccio al mondo della filosofia accademica. Quando mi porse il dattiloscritto per una lettura non potei far altro che suggerirgli di farne un e-book, per consentire non soltanto agli studenti ma a chiunque di leggere quelle forti quanto illuminanti posizioni sul mondo accademico, ma più in generale sull’“Istituzione” in quanto tale. Egli ne fu lieto e mi chiese anche di scrivere alcune note da inserire come “postilla” al testo, in nome della nostra collaborazione e della condivisione continua e appassionata di idee e lavoro (Stavamo infatti per iniziare alcuni confronti filosofici su temi cari a entrambi, confronti che sarebbero poi confluiti in video e libri a firma comune, lavori che ormai non vedranno mai la luce).

Così, con il coinvolgimento della casa editrice le nubi edizioni di Roma, in breve tempo ecco nascere l’e-book che potete trovare e scaricare gratuitamente al link in calce. Mi duole pensare che a leggerlo oggi, dopo la sua morte, appaia come un testamento filosofico, come un ultimo estremo tentativo per attivare una critica, un ragionamento e la ricerca di soluzioni su un’istituzione che di certo non lo ha mai agevolato nel suo lavoro, ma alla quale, attraverso la sua dedizione verso gli studenti, egli ha dedicato l’intera vita.

The web site guidozingari.it starts from a very difficult purpose: to pay our tribute to the memory of the person whose name it bears.

All the same, it starts from two real possibilities: the first one is to remember about Guido Zingari through the strongest memories and thoughts of those who knew him and loved him as well.

The second one is to make know his work through the collection of his ideas and writings.

According to our wishes this project should serve as a point of contact for those who feel that life has changed for good since April 6, 2009 and also for those who know that the world, without Guido Zingari, is a poorer, sadder and unfairer place.

Without him an imperative become necessary: we have to give a sense to his absence as he would have liked.

We finally hope that his wife, Paola, and his mother, Lidia, and all his brothers and relatives, thanks to our closeness, can feel less lonely and with something very important to share.

Unfortunately, there is nothing that I can say or do in order to explain what I actually feel since that cursed April 6 but I can do something different: I can be at people’s disposal and I can offer myself to those who want to remember him in many different ways.

We could collect and spread his unpublished works, we could devote a day to him, we could organise a cultural initiative each year, we could carry on his job.

We could do all these things but we should do that together: he would so!

And he would very pleased to see us laughing and reasoning out while working together.

In the meantime, I want to thank Diego Caponera, a student himself, because through his competence and engagement we now have this virtual space in loving memory of our dear professor.

We could run into technical problems and maybe some sections of this web site could be slow to develop but we will face up to those inconveniences with meticulousness and pure passion as Professor Guido Zingari taught us.

We had the pleasure and the honour of working with him and he was, he still is and he will actually be, a teacher of wisdom and , at the same time, our master of life.
